I have worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years in the property, newspaper, flexographic, packaging and printing industries. For the last 7 years I have worked at Acme Graphics dealing in ,make-ready and pre-press for CTP printing plates and negatives for Litho, IML, Flexographic, Silkscreen and Offset printing, of which 5 years was spent as the Team Lead for the Acme Direct department. This period of employment has terminated at the end of February 2020, as my partner, and I was supposed to emigrate to New Zealand in March 2020. 2 Days before departure Covid-19 lockdowns was initiated which is, up to now, still delaying our departure date for an unknown period of time.

Advanced technical skills in regard to CTP and repro for the print industry. Other skills include image manipulation, image correcting, editing and recolouring, photoshop based, graphic design and packaging design. Some web design and video editing skills, but far from advanced, would love to get more exposure though.

For freelance projects SAFREA recommended rates apply, unless we come to another agreement where rates are not clear. Amateur photographer.  I retain copyright of any images coming from my camera, unless a mutually beneficial agreement has been reached beforehand. Assistance jobs - rates negotiable where it does not include actually taking photos.
